The "Commercial Care" program provides our valuable business customers a discounted rate and allows R.A. Heating a means in which to systematically schedule our technicians for routine maintenance.

Commercial Care Advantage

The service division of R. A. Heating & Air Conditioning uses a nationally recognized method of pricing service work. It was developed to make sure that you, our customer, could feel in control of a service call from beginning to end. A nationally respected organization has accumulated data on the proper time to complete thousands of service tasks. This time is based on a fully trained and qualified technician with the latest diagnostic tools arriving at your site. We will give a firm price for the trip and a thorough diagnosis of your system, called our "Diagnostic Charge". This charge is waived to our Commercial Care customers with a maintenance contract. Then, once the problem is discovered, we will give you a firm up-front price to repair it. This price will include all labor, parts, miscellaneous materials, parts acquisition time and other variables that you used to be surprised with at the end of our call. Our Commercial Care customers receive a 10% discount off our regular prices and no overtime charges - no matter what time of day or night or no matter how long the repair takes.

  • Commercial Care provides the necessary preventive maintenance for your system at reduced rates. Custom pricing is given to all Commercial Care customers based on quantity and size of equipment.

  • Commercial Care makes sense with today's high energy costs. Keeping your heating and/or cooling unit components finely-tuned delivers to you peak performance from energy costs.

  • Commercial Care customers have preferred 24 hour service with no overtime charges during the contract period.

  • Commercial Care customers have no diagnostic charges and receive a discount on all repairs in the event of a mechanical failure.

  • Commercial Care customers have Peace of Mind that Safety & Efficiency will be monitored regularly.


We will provide a trained technician to inspect your heating and air conditioning system for proper operation to ensure that it is in the best possible condition for the heating or cooling season.

SUMMER COOLING
15 POINT SERVICE CHECK
  1. Install gauges and check operating pressures.
  2. Check voltage and amperage to all motors with meter.
  3. Check air temperature drop across evaporator.
  4. Check for adequate refrigerant charge and possible leaks.
  5. Check evaporator superheat.
  6. Lubricate all moving parts.
  7. Check belt and adjust tension.
  8. Check filters.
  9. Check electrical lock out circuits.
  10. Check starting contractor contacts.
  11. Check all wiring and connections.
  12. Check thermostat operation.
  13. Check air temperature across condenser.
  14. Check that condensate drain is open.
  15. Provide general equipment condition report to the owner.


WINTER HEATING
15 POINT SERVICE CHECK
  1. Check thermostat operation.
  2. Check all safety controls.
  3. Vacuum burners, and heat exchanger.
  4. Check pilot assembly.
  5. Adjust burner for peak efficiency.
  6. Check for gas/oil leaks in furnace.
  7. Lubricate all moving parts.
  8. Check belt and adjust tension.
  9. Check filters.
  10. Check venting system.
  11. Check and clean condensate lines.
  12. Carbon monoxide testing.
  13. Check pump pressure or gas pressure and adjust, if necessary.
  14. Inspect heat exchangers for dangerous holes or cracks.
  15. Provide general equipment condition report to the owner.

In the event that the 15 point inspection requires an additional repair, our technician will firmly quote the discounted repair price to you for your authorization.
